Auto Accessories for My Car
I wrote last about the aftermarket wheels or custom rims I bought for my car nearly 10 years ago. I was always dumping money into my car back then — I lived at home, worked full time, and didn’t have many other responsibilities that required my time and money.
Here are a few of the auto accessories I bought for my car back then:
- Chrome accessories, such as those wheels and a few other things
- Lowering springs and tougher strut cartridges for better handling
- Custom exhaust for better sound and power
- Cold air intake, again for better power
- A more powerful coil and plug wires that conducted the spark better
- A kick-butt stereo with a 10-inch sub, two amps, and a top-of-the-line Kenwood Excelon CD player
The guys I hung out with were doing the same thing — dumping money into accessories for their cars and trucks — buying things such as Hella lights and light bars, bumpers, brush guards, etc. I don’t even want to know how much money I spent on my car when all was said and done. Suffice it to say that if I had put it all in savings, I’d have a small fortune now, after 9 years of interest!
